IDEA: The Experience will bring together individuals from every walk of life and professional background. For the program’s inaugural session, a group of approximately 30—among them writers, engineers, artists, scientists, psychologists, musicians, architects and businesspeople—will be recruited primarily from within the FIU community and include professors, graduate students and others chosen for their expertise in a given field. Future gatherings will include members of the larger South Florida community and occur annually.
